We have shared over 42,000 photos, over 11,000 members and there have been 100's of lifelong friendships made in our time online.

Our site on the Ning platform is the largest community in the world for those that love sea glass. The information accumulated there is invaluable. SGL has always been a commercial free non agenda site for sea glass collectors to share their passion for these gems.
Ning recently announced a price increase that the founder of SGL can no longer bear.
In order to keep this wonderful community alive, we ask you to contribute what you can!
We need to reach this goal by June 2017 in order to keep our site alive. Should the amount we need not be reached, we will donate the proceeds to Ocean Conservancy and Surfrider Foundation.
