S.D. Highwayman Needs an Engine

Donation protected
The Highway Man, based in San Diego County, has been providing free roadside service for people in need, like changing a tire, providing gas for an empty tank, and pulling over when he sees someone in need to make sure there is safety until the appropriate remedies are at hand. He has been doing this since the 1960s, along with hs his trusty sidekick, Sheila, and all he asks in return is that you pay the kindness forward.

Right now, the Highwayman could use a helping hand in getting his '56 Mercury ambulance rescue vehicle back in running condition.  It has a blown engine and cracked heads and/or engine.  The best course of action at this time is to get a replacement engine, at the cost of $4000-$5000.  The down payment has been raised, but now the rest of the engine cost, as well as delivery and labor, now needs to be raised.  The planned delivery window is within two days of December 25th, 2016.

The highways and byways of San Diego are a safer place when the Highwayman is on patrol. Thousands of people have been grateful for his service in their times of automotive emergencies, and, with a new engine, many more will benefit in the future.  Help us help him!
