Family of Soldier w/ Cancer in Need

Scott was diagnosed with an aggressive type of brain cancer and given about four months to live… a year and a half ago. He was doing great until about three weeks ago. Currently he can’t walk on his own and falls frequently. His long term memory is mostly intact, but his short term memory is failing which creates frustration. His wife and young son have been taking care of him on their own but frankly need help now. Scott requires professional care that, due to red tape and insurance requirements, he isn’t getting. His wife Angel (Angelena) and son are doing more than they can. They need physical help caring for Scott.

Husband, Father, Friend, Soldier, Former Marine and Law Enforcement Officer. A veteran with many deployments including combat tours to Iraq, and Afghanistan.  Scott is fiercely and passionately loyal to his family, country, and friends. A loving and devoted husband of 20 years. A proud father to two sons. A patriot, and a selfless friend. Although not perfect, (he is a Bama fan) he is truly a good man. A gifted leader who inspires more from those under his care, and pushes those above him to never forget their responsibilities. There is no way I can put to paper who Scott is in such a way that would do him justice, so I won’t try. It was an honor and a privilege to be his medic in Iraq, and even more so to call him my friend today.
