Scott & Tatiana both had a heart for people long before they ever ran into each other. After competing against each other for Student Class Chaplain in college (Olivet Nazarene), sparks flew and they ended up dating. Scott & Tatiana married in 2008 and have since ministered in the local church and worked with kids and teens in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Iowa. They moved (back for Tatiana, first time for Scott) to the Quad Cities a couple years ago.
On September 22, Scott broke his neck and sustained extensive spinal injuries after falling off a rock wall. He was airlifted to Iowa City's Surgical Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. Scott had surgery to stabilize his spine, but remains in serious condition.
