My Volunteer Trip to Ghana

Hi, my name is Tim Schou. Long story short, I write songs, sleep on couches and travel the world, recording and performing my music. 

What I would like to do:

Back in 2016, I was contacted by a woman named Sonja Liggett-Igelmund. She asked me to help her raise money for a project called "Meeting Bismarck". An organization focused on building a new school for children and a midwife's home in "Have", a small village in Ghana. I gladly offered my help and in December 2016, I played 2 successful charity shows in Germany, including one of the worlds biggest churches, Cologne Cathedral.

Goals:

I will be going down to meet the kids at their schools and give them a week of experiences, they'll never forget and at the end of the trip I'm inviting all of them to a big show in an abandoned church.

This effort will not only be for this trip, it will also be to gain focus on the projects future and the work we're trying to do. The more focus I can help to create, the better, and I will do so through documenting and telling my story about these children in "Have." Further than that, we're having a big German tv channel "WDR" documenting and telling the story on German TV this coming June.

I'm hoping some will find it in their hearts to donate.

Like I said, I don't have much to give, but besides the feeling of doing something good for others, you will get a MP3 of one of my unreleased songs as a thank you.
