Disabled donations for lawsuit

Donazione protetta

Hello, my name is Carlos Figueroa, I am a 52 year old Puerto Rican Hispanic American. I am reaching out and sharing my story with all of you in hopes of raising donations to help me and family pay for our lawyers and fight for justice. It was extremley difficult to find  lawyers to take on the Swedish Government because of the foreign sovereign immunities act but I found two terrific lawyers one in New York and one in California to take on the Swedish Government, because they both believe in my case and that a great injustice has been done to me, but I will have to pay all legal expenses (court reporters fees, copying fees, court filing fees, messenger services, travel expenses, overnight deliveries, and the like separate from the contingency fee) that the lawyers incur.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     First and foremost I am an extremely private person, so this is very difficult to speak about. On December 30 2015 my lawyers where force to file a lawsuit in New York City supreme court against the Mission of Sweden to the UN in NYC and the Swedish Government for discrimination, personal injury, and disability discrimination. I have been working for the Swedish Mission to the UN for over 10 years and I was the only American working there, everyone else at the Mission is swedish and soon after being hired I was treated differently. I was basically treated like an outsider and discriminated because I am Puerto Rican and American! My position at the mission was as Chauffeur/Clerk, I was the personal driver to the Ambassador of Sweden in New York. I worked 10-18 hours a day and some weeks 7 days. It was hard working so much but I was able to provide for my family and live a decent life. During my time at the mission I was left out of any meetings where my duties were often discussed without me present and could not defend myself from there accusations. I then faced discrimination comments from both my co-workers and the ambassador.                                                                                                                                                                             In 2012 I was tasked with a duty to assemble a wardrobe closet in the ambassadors resident and was told I would get help. Without question and fear of losing my job because of how I was treated at the mission I did as was I was told, as per usual whenever I needed help I would never get any, I was not surprised when I had to do it myself. During my time at the mission whenever I had to move furniture, cabinets, boxes, cases of books, beer, wine, or liquor I would never receive any help. On the third day of a three day project I fell from a 5ft ladder trying to hang the sliding doors, at first I tried without the ladder but I couldn't get the doors on the tracks because I couldn't see since the wardrobe cabinet is so high, but I tried to see if anyone was around the ambassadors residents and that  could help me, but no one was around and it was Friday and late and it had to be finished by the end of the day so I was left with no other choice but to finish because of the way I had been always treated.                                                                                                                                                                                                                From the fall I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis and Bilateral Nerve Entrapment in my legs, also know as "Piriformis Syndrome". I tried to seek help and advice from multiple sources in the office including the office manager and the ambassador and the Swedish Government because I didn't know what the procedures are for Sweden. My pleas fell on deaf ears, and they would constantly push aside my claim and minimize my concerns, I continued to work since I had no other choice and the mission did not have workers compensation and one day the pain was so intense in my lower back and legs I could hardly walk and immediately went to the emergency room and spent 10hrs there. My diagnosis took over 2 years, 3 hospitals and no less then 12 doctors and I endured countless test, physical therapy, painfull epidural type injections, medications and even back surgery, and still have no relief for my pain! During the 2 years I was seeking help for my pain, I was forced to take medical leaves from my job, and I was constantly harassed by my job to either return or be at risk of losing my job! They never once followed up on my condition or progress even though I provided them with many doctors letters and doctors contact information, as per requested by management. They only wanted my situation to go away and claim no responsibility and deny me of any compensation from their government since I am not Swedish.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        They want the American people to be tasked this responsibility! Which is extremely unfair. I lost my quality of life due to their negligence! I live in pain both physically and mentally 24/7 due to these injuries and will have to use a cane for the rest of my life, I can no longer support myself or my family. I have been diagnosed as being disable because I can no longer sit, stand or walk for long periods of time. Financially I have fallen into debt and struggle on a daily basis. I was left with no means to support my family or myself.                                                                                                                                                                                                 The Swedish Mission to the UN had no workers compensation but acquired later on which is no use to me, also I was turned down by social security and forced to take medicaid since they cut my medical. I am willing to fight for this in court and have a judge or jury of my peers listen to my case and decide. It is all I can do at this point and as a citizen and American I feel I have a right to hold the Swedish Government responsible for their actions. Thank you in advance for your support and donations and for taking the time to read my story.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         I also would like to say that if I win my case the donations I recieve will be matched and I will give back and donate between the ASPCA because of my love for cats and dogs and the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund for families battling childhood cancer.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Here are the articles of my story in the
