Saying Goodbye To My Oldest Friend

My oldest and dearest friend passed away unexpectedly this past Saturday, February 4th. I cannot begin to describe the void his passing has left with me. His celebration of life is this coming Saturday, February 11th in our old town of Swanton, VT.
Needless to say, flights back east are not cheap and I can't do this on my own. That's why I am asking for your help. I haven't been back east since I left almost 20 years ago but my bond with him never weakened over the years. We always made time for the big things with each other and now, unfortunately, this is the biggest and hardest trek of them all.
Anything helps, but I ask you not to wait long. My goal is to be able to purchase my ticket this coming Thursday so I can fly on Friday.
When you think about that friend who you imagine growing old with from the time you are kids....that's who I lost. Adam was that to me.
