Sarah and Steve Poulin are the proud parents of three beautiful and amazing children; Jacob (nearly 5), Gabriella (3) and Hannah (1). On Saturday, April 2, a tumor was discovered on Jacob Poulin's brain stem. It was removed on Monday, April 4 and while the family is awaiting final confirmation they know that future treatment is necessary. 

The past few days have been heartbreaking for Sarah and Steve as they watch their son battle for his life.  He has had several tests, MRIs, and very serious but life-saving brain surgery to remove the tumor.  (Please see Sarah's facebook page  for very detailed updates.) Through it all the little guy has been a warrior. In the coming days the hope is that he will be able to move out of the pediatric intensive care unit and to a recovery floor. We pray that he will continue to improve day by day and that the pain will quickly subside. We also need to take a moment to thank God that the tumor was discovered and that it was successfully removed.

The Poulin family has a long journey in front of them. A journey that will alter the way they live, will involve many hospital visits, and new child care needs for Jacob and their other children. Sarah will also need to take time off from work to care for Jacob. One can predict that this will come at a great financial cost to the family. While exact numbers are unknown now, several friends and family members of the Poulin family have reached out to ask how they can help. Please consider contributing to this fund and aid in relieving the financial anxiety they will be faced with. Parents should never have to witness their child battle for their life. Lets help alleviate some of their stress by reducing their financial burden. All the funds will be given to the Poulin family to help with medical bills and future treatment.
