Saving Shannon

On October 11th between 7pm and 4am the following morning, local Humboldt county resident, Shannon House, was reported missing from his camp at the tip of the Emerald Triangle between Kettenpom and Covelo, East of Bear Canyon and West of Kettenpom. He was last seen wearing an olive green Carharrt tshirt and black gym shorts. He appeared disoriented the night before his disappearance and this is completely uncharacteristic of him. He has dark brown curly hair, and wears black Ray Ban prescription glasses. He is of Native American mixed descent so his skin color is more tan. Shannon is one of the greatest people I've ever met, his helpless devotion to his family is not only inspiring but it's also humbling. He is a gentle giant and even though he's only 5'11" he's a very large man roughly 300lbs, but he's an avid walker and we speculate he could walk for very long stretches.. Shannon is a Son, a Brother, and most importantly an Uncle to a ton of children that just adore this man with all their heart. Due to the time of year and the location, state and municipal employees are unable to aide us in our search so we've been forced to go private for everything. The Helicopter alone is over $2,500 per day. We are asking, pleading with you to open your hearts and your wallets and donate anything you can to bring this man back home safely. Humboldt County and all of California is full of people who are generous and willing to help. Even a donation of $1 will help us bring in trackers, dog teams, and continue our search efforts in this incredibly remote location.
