Saving Brandon from abuse and neglect

In 2008 I had four teenagers all less than a year apart.  I thought I was done raising children but God wasn't finished. At the time I was extremely close to my niece, who at 13 yrs. old was put on Xanax for having anxiety and panic attacks.  While the Xanax was a temporary fix it was also a gateway drug that eventually led her on a path to Heroin. I adored her and tried to love the drugs away... a beautiful soul that was contagious in every way. She became pregnant and everyone was concerned about how this poor little baby would turn out because she continued to use heroin and other street drugs.
God had a plan for that little angel.

After tragic events like being left on a bus, left in hotel rooms, being neglected and starved and tested positive for opiates himself he came into my custody.
Over the next two years I fought for this child and his well-being and was able to adopt him right before his 4th birthday.

It has not been easy.  This beautiful child suffered from Traumatic brain injury. There were times when he would just bang his head on the floor, scream for hours and brutally try to beat on me.  Many times after hours of dealing with his behaviors, I would go into my closet so he couldn’t see me and sob.  I love him so very much and it was horrible that he had to suffer this way because of an adult’s addiction. He is now in the 5th grade and was chosen for the Citizens Award for the entire 5th grade, he's been on the honor roll every year and active in sports and church. PERFECT!

In 2013, my niece became pregnant again.  This time she was pregnant by the a guy who he said loved her while he forced her to have sex for drugs.
She had the baby 7 weeks early. The day after she gave birth the father of the baby was arrested and went to prison for drugs. (Was not the first time)

This time baby was kept in NICU because he was severely addicted to opioids.  Has anyone ever seen a 4 pound newborn baby shaking, screaming with constant cramping, diarrhea ?  They shake and cry and cannot be calmed due to withdrawal.

The Department of Social Services allowed her to take the child out the hospital door to a savage environment and finally after six months but on December 27, 2014 DSS  removed the starved, almost lifeless boy that only weighed 7 pounds at 6 months old there was no formula or food anywhere in the home.

On January 5, 2015 The child who was prayed for unrelentlessly was finally united with his biological brother and family who greeted him with lovingly open arms!!

When the baby was 1 yr. old, his biological father was released from prison. We had baby for two years and no custody and went to court in Sept. 2017.
We were told that we were going to get full permanent custody. Two days before we were supposed to go to court DSS notified us  they were going to allow the father to work a treatment plan and if he succeeded, he would receive full custody.  I immediately reached out to an attorney.

Since that time we have spent over$60,000 fighting for this child’s well-being, happiness, but MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL,  HIS SAFETY.
KEEPING HIM AWAY FROM A LIFE OF DRUGS AND ABUSE.

The father has failed multiple drug tests.  He was arrested with 49 Xanax, 19 grams of crushed Xanax and a bag of crack cocaine taped to his body less than a year ago.

We went to court last JUST week and the judge ordered that he can have unsupervised visits.  We are devastated and  terrified for his life. This little boy will be 5 yrs. old next month and has never seen his biological father. THE JUDGE WAS FALLING ASLEEP!!!!!

I have run out of money.  I am begging anyone who has a heart to donate to this innocent, well adjusted, safely kept angel baby who is now a confident 5yr old.  Help me keep him with his biological brother.  Help him stay with his family who loves him so dearly.
We APPRECIATE ALL PRAYERS, SUPPORT, AND SO VERY APPRECIATIVE OF EVERY DOLLAR TO SAVE THE LIFE OF THIS CHILD.
                                                                                                     GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!
