Little City Gardens (www.littlecitygardens.com), the only commercial farm in San Francisco will soon no longer have a home. In February 2014, the lot used by the farm was purchased by Golden Bridges School, and the school plans to develop the lot into a school for 200 students and so this rare gem in the heart of San Francisco will be demolished by 2017.
Mission Terrace Land Preservation Committee (MTLPC) is a group of concerned neighbors who believe Little City Gardens is a precious resource in the city of San Francisco. It is a green space, an oasis, in a city that is developing so fast and sometimes without regard for what needs to preserved for future generations. Our concerns are many, our resources few, and we need help to insure we Save The Farm.
Note: MTLPC is not directly affiliated with Little City Gardens, we are working as concerned friends and neighbors of the farm to try to preserve the garden before it is gone forever.
The money will be used to offset projected legal costs in trying to halt this development. We don't need much, anything will help - please help us Save The Farm www.safethefarmsf.com !
