My name is Ben Ward and I am reaching out to help our dear friend Mr. Ron Harris. While you may not know me, we all share the same appreciation for our beloved Mr. Harris.
Recent storms have killed an enormous tree next to his house - it is on the verge of falling down and destroying his home. The cost to safely remove this tree is beyond the financial means of Mr. Harris, who is a retired public school teacher. Let us come together as a community to help Mr. Harris solve this problem and restore the safety of his home.

About Mr. Ron Harris:
Mr. Ron Harris is an outstanding member of the Huntsville, Alabama community who dedicated 40 years to teaching Biology and Drama at J.O. Johnson High School and Lee High School. He is an individual who nurtures the soul of the community and gives everything he has to helping others. Mr. Harris has been recognized with the 2000 Marion Gallaway Lifetime Achievement Award for Alabama Theatre, the 2006 Huntsville Volunteer of the Year Award, and the 2008 Virginia Hammill Simms Award (contributions to the arts in the Huntsville community).
Mr. Harris is loved by all who know him and lights up our lives with his fascinating stories, thoughtful insight, and passion for life. We can show him our appreciation through our positive actions today.
