Save the Small's Home

***UPDATE: The Small's are still in their home and are busily getting it ready for sale. Between this campaign and other donations/monies the amount they owe is down to about $24,000. They are been looking around for a place to rent but there is nothing available that is the size they need for seven people. Please continue to share their story and help where you can. Our friends, Ralston & Natalie Small, are two weeks away from having to sell their home and I would like your help to prevent that from happening.
The Small's live in Prince Edward Island, Canada.  While raising their own five children they were foster parents to 28 children. They are one of the most loving, generous, kind, and hard working couples I know.
When they asked to adopt one of their long-term foster children, who was attached and secure and bonded to them, they were denied. For his sake they appealed to the government minister but to no avail. They tried the courts but that also went no where. In PEI those with authority to place children for adoption do not want the children to stay in their long-term foster homes. The people in authority do not want children to stay where they are secure, thriving, and being loved.
Fighting for what was best for this child has cost them financially. Right now they are a couple of weeks away from being forced to sell their home so they can pay their legal fees. Their legal fees are have been over $70,000.
If you are able, I am asking that you help us save their home. Even though they are no longer foster parents they have a home where many people come and go and are loved and cared for. It would mean a lot to so many if you would help them save their home.
