Save the Mayburg Bridge

Donation protected
The Mayburg Bridge is danger of being closed by the US Forestry Service.

This bridge provides the only safe and reliable access to the Mayburg community.  The Mayburg Bridge crosses the Tionesta Creek from Route 666 into the village comprised of over 140 properties.  Although many properties are seasonal, there are also people that reside here full time.  This bridge is used by permanent residents, seasonal residents, visitors, hunters, fishermen, snowmobile riders, and many more.

Mayburg needs your help as we prepare to fight the US Forestry Service to keep access to our homes, our camps, and our community.  Legal help is expensive.  We need your help, your financial help to win this fight.

The US Forestry Service has said they will close the bridge in May of 2019.  We need your help today.

All funds raised are being deposited into the account maintained by the Mayburg Road Fund.    The Mayburg Road Fund will maintain records of funds raised and how these funds are spent.

Funds will be used for legal and other costs associated with fighting to keep access to Mayburg.  It is anticipated the majority of the funds raised will be for attorney fees.  Other costs may include items such as document fees to obtain historical records needed in the fight to preserve access to Mayburg.

Please donate what you can.
