Save the Little Engine that Could
In 2008, our family took over the shopping center at Burke Junction with the little train ride that had been abandoned for close to 10 years. It took a dedicated team of train operators, engineeers, designers and labor to reinstall over 900 railroad ties to 4,000 feet of steel track, and a year of hard work to bring the train back into rideable condition. Over the years, we have steadily maintained it and tried to give our community's youngsters (and young at heart) a chance to ride the BuJu Line once again.
Unfortunately, January 7th, 2018 our train operator got into an accident and damaged the train significantly.
We humbly ask the Cameron Park community to pitch in and help us pay for this latest round of repairs to get the train back up and running.
Your help will make a huge difference in restoring the joy and good times in all who ride the train and put the heart back into Cameron Park.
