Save the Laughing Derby Comedy Club

The staff of the Laughing Derby (formally known as the Comedy Caravan) in Mid City mall is working hard to buy the historical comedy club from the current owners. The $10,000 will go towards buying the club and the remainder will go towards renovations and bringing in more local talent. For the last 30 years we have offered comedy locally at the same location and would like to stay at least another 30 years. Several comedy venues have disappeared from the local scene. Unfortunately, we are the last standing independent venue in Louisville. We have continued to support national comics  from across the United States as well as local talent  and we want to continue this tradition. We are asking for your support to keep the comedy club open and running so all of our fans can enjoy a good laugh. Some of our staff members have been here for up to 17 years. This is our home and we would like to keep it. We love comedy and the comics that come in are part of our family. We need to raise this money to maintain a local hold on a long standing local business. We are asking for any donations as soon as possible. Thank you and keep laughing.
