Save the Greensand Ridge! Help us save the Greensand Ridge, the John Bunyan Trail footpaths and the historic village of Ridgmont, Bedfordshire from 85 acres of warehousing and distribution units on open countryside, which will adversely affect this beautiful landscape and impact the village. These buildings will devastate the views from the footpaths, the village of Ridgmont and destroy this vital amenity.
Ridgmont Parish Council have funded a professional evaluation and report of the CBC local plan with respect to the aforementioned area.
We are seeking further funding to ensure that the expert advisers services can be retained to represent these findings when the inspector invites those who have objected to speak. It will make a huge difference to have an expert explaining the objections that have been found and is our most realistic chance of being successful in this endeavour.
Ridgmont Parish Council respects that this is a significant sum of money and has decided to seek to raise the majority of funds from private donation.
