Cheeky Cherubs Playgroup needs your help!!
As many of you know Val has run a playgroup at the Burtonwood community centre every Friday for the past 3 years. Many local children & families have benefitted from this.
Over the past couple of months we have seen numbers drop but still have about 10 children who regularly attend each week. Sadly this is not enough to cover the weekly rent. This is the first time the playgroup has struggled to cover its costs. We are also facing our annual insurance bill which is due in April.
Val is faced with a decision as to wether to continue to run the playgroup. It cannot continue to run at a loss and we will struggle to cover the cost of the insurance.
We desperately don't want the group to close and are hopeful that the numbers of children will increase again, making it sustainable but we need help to get through this tricky period.
We are appealing to members of the Burtonwood community to help us cover the costs in the short term by making a small donation if you are able.
Please help support local children and Val to keep the group running. Thank you!
Can people also help us increase our numbers by spreading awareness of the group.

It runs on Friday mornings 9.30-11.30am.
It costs £1 a child which includes a free snack.
