Save the Hero Trees of West Kentish Town

Camden Council is in the planning stages of redeveloping the vast West Kentish Town estate and according to the initial consultation material the consultants working on  the proposals have identified only 5 trees that are of primary significance, ie. are high quality trees with at least 40 years life left, that are likely to be protected. Transition Kentish Town think that there are many more than this. Here is a site showing a some examples:

This fund will help pay for our own qualified arboriculturalist to visit and provide us with an expert opinion that will help us make the case for retaining more of these trees. The information provided will cover the health and likely longevity of the trees, and their value to biodiversity.
