Pray for Saraj

Saraj is a third grade little boy who has been fighting stage 3 melanoma since the beginning of this summer. He's had three surgeries total. The first surgery was the removal of the mole, and it came back as stage 4 melanoma. Then he traveled up to Egleston in Atlanta to remove the skin that was surrounding the mole that was on his back. They also removed a lymph node from his upper leg/groin area. Both the skin and lymph node came back positive for stage 3 cancer. A few weeks later he went back up to Egleston again to have all of the lymph nodes removed from the same area on his upper leg/groin area. After a board of 30 doctors met to review Saraj's case they decided to go ahead with the last surgery, and for him to return on November 2, 2015 for a high dose of Peglayted Inferferon Injection through a pic line for 20 days. After that he'll get one injection of this for a year. This injection is a form of chemotherapy, and has been extremely successful in other patients. We are very confident that Saraj will have the same successful outcome. Prior to starting the injection a CAT scan will be performed to make sure the cancer hasn't spread throughout his body. Saraj and his mother Sarah will be staying in Atlanta the entire month of November. Every little bit will help with the medical bills, gas money to and from Egleston Hospital, and other medical expenses. Thank you again for all of the prayers and support for this precious family.
