Sanford Pride community festival

Each year we bring various events of the Sanford Pride festival to our Historic Downtown Sanford community, We are proud that Sanford is the county seat of Seminole County Florida, Our Mission is to offer  events that provide resources, education and assistance to the LGBTQ Youth facing difficulties adjusting to the challenges of our society, as well as to Parents and Families of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) and to the LGBTQ general communities that a part of our society. We work to establish awareness and promotion of equality, diversity and acceptance of the issues facing the LGBTQ community by providing events that bring resources, information, entertainment and assistance the community and to individuals. We are seeking revenue at this time to secure city permitting, fees, rentals, bookings, printings, supplies advertisements  and other production cost associated with developing the Sanford Pride events.
Although developing and organizing events such as Sanford Pride requires a lot of time energies and resources the purpose is to provide resources to individuals often in times of personal difficult times or in a  life or death situation or someone wanting to know or understand how to deal with issues facing the LGBTQ community and the Sanford Pride board is so moved and motivated by making a difference and changing lives for the better, and although the Sanford Pride committee works hard and diligently to make this all possible they realize and are so thankful for all the support they receive from everyone at all levels and of all kinds and that this is the result of us ALL working together both FINACIALLY and physically so from all of us and the Sanford Pride Board members ................
