Sandy and Jon's IVF Journey

Donation protected
Thank you for taking the time to read about Sandy and Jon's difficult journey. I know some of you may already know portions of their story but I will start from the beginning. Sandy and Jon have been married for 7 years and have always had the dream of adding a child to their home. After trying for an extended period with no success, Sandy visited a specialist to find out if there was a reason they were having trouble conceiving or if they simply needed more time. To her extreme dismay, the tests revealed that Sandy had a rare form of ovarian cancer and she would need to remove her right ovary. After the surgery was completed and several tests confirmed there was no recurrence, Sandy was declared cancer free. However, she was still unsure if she would be able to conceive. She went to another fertility specialist to find out if their dream of having children was possible. After many tests, minor procedures, and prayers, it was discovered that IVF was the only way Sandy and Jon would be able to have a child. The first transfer did not take, but she still held out hope for the next one. She transferred two embryos in the middle of October and it seemed their prayers had finally been answered, there was something growing! Only one egg "stuck" but miraculously it split; they were going to be blessed with twins! Sandy and Jon were beyond belief ecstatic. Sandy had constant nausea but she was grateful to God for the feeling. Sadly, Sandy and Jon were given devastating news at their 8-week ultrasound... The two heartbeats they had recently heard had stopped.
Despite all of the hardships they have had to face, Sandy and Jon remain optimistic and still hold out hope they will get the chance fulfill their dream of becoming parents. They have spoken to their doctor and they are hoping to do another transplant in February. There is an extra fee associated with the next procedure but Sandy and Jon have exhausted most of their savings on the last transplant and their previous medical expenses. I am setting up this fund in hopes that anyone who is able can help them complete this journey. Any financial help or prayer that can be offered to help this fabulous, extremely deserving couple have their dream come true would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
