San Jose Bike Clinic is Silicon Valley's only do-it-yourself, community bike shop. It’s a place where you can bring your bike to learn from volunteer mechanics how to do your own bike maintenance and repair right there at the shop. We’re all volunteer-run and non-profit, a fiscally sponsored program of Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition.
In January 2019, San Jose Bike Clinic will embark on its biggest and boldest phase ever. We are preparing to move into our new location at the corner of N 4th and E St. James streets, on the ground floor of the Donner Lofts building. We will have a window-front, corner presence to show off all the amazing we work we do to help the bicycling community in San Jose and Silicon Valley.
A generous donor has stepped up to offer us a unique, triple-your-donation match campaign. That's right, for every dollar you donate San Jose Bike Clinic will get THREE! Our goal is to raise $2,500 by the end of this year, and with the donor match we will end up with $7,500 to help us with moving expenses and setting up the shop for its most exciting phase ever.
Your money will go towards helping us buy new equipment to be optimally organized in our new space, to make sure we have all the tools and stands we need, and to make sure we have the runway needed for the first few months to take off and soar in our new spot.
And we have some attractive enticements to help encourage you to help us.
$25 will get you an annual membership to the new and improved San Jose Bike Clinic (a $75 value!).
$35 will get you the annual membership plus an invitation to our Grand Reopening Party (a celebration you won't want to miss).
