Maryam Cares: ICNA Relief Women Transitional House

Want to join me in making a difference? This Ramadan, I'm raising money to benefit ICNA Relief USA Women's Transitional Housing program and any donation will help make an impact. I contacted the director of the Women's program and was told that there are six women in the transitional house in Jamaica, NY. A transitional house is like a shelter for sisters who do not have anywhere else to go or who were abused or faced domestic violence. 

The money you donate directly go willt ICNA Relief and will help buy sheets, blankets, towels, personal care items and toiletries.

This will be our family project this year! Please help me support those sisters. Life is unpredictable and no one wants to be in their position one day.

PS. This page is called Maryam Cares in honor of my little Maryam Sattaur. May our kids grow up to love charity and may be agents of change in their communities.
