In 2014, a young man we love and care deeply for
was randomly and brutally assaulted while walking down a street in West Chester, PA.
Surgery was performed at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia by four surgeons to repair numerous facial fractures and to save this young man's eyesight. The force of the punch to his face was so intense that his nasal bone had been pushed backward into his head.
While the physical wounds have healed, the emotional scars remain as these assaults continue to occur.
We are seeking the money needed for the purchase and installation of cameras in strategic locations to allow prosecution of perpetrators in these horrific and senseless crimes, so that in the near future they can be prevented entirely.
West Chester is a lovely place. Let's all work to keep it that way.
