Safe Binding For Trans Teens

Hello! My name is Flynn Namala and I am a trans man who has recently had the privilege of having top surgery. In celebration I decided  to host a giveaway with my band, The Blank Minds, in which we would giveaway 5 binders to other young trans teens in need. As we received submissions for this giveaway I was overwhelmed by the need there was in the trans community for binders. When I received my first binder it was a life changing moment as it allowed me to truly feel more comfortable in my own body and present in the masculine way in which I wished to be perceived. However I was very fortunate to be in a financial position in which I was able to purchase and receive a binder. After reviewing these submissions I found many people were unable to get a binder due to lack of financial stability, transphobic families and many other obstacles. I was inspired by their stories to do my best to fundraiser as much money as possible so I could hopefully order more binders and help out more people. It is also important to note that many people often resort to really unsafe methods of binding, ace bandage wraps, excessive taping etc.,  which can be really damaging to the body and the mind. Providing these teens with binders allows them a safe and easy way to bind. Binders usually run between 20-40$ but any size donation is extremely helpful. It may not seem like a big thing, just one small item of clothing, but the impact it can have on someone is truly life changing. I would greatly appreciate any amount you can donate.
