1.3 million people have been killed in the US led war of terror. Australia not only gives military support to these wars, we've spent billions of dollars, lost 47 Australian soldiers and only increased the terrorist threat. The US relies on Australia, not only for political support, but to train on our soil.
In July, thousands of US troops will train near Rockhampton.
People from all over Australia, from all walks of life, will walk on to Shoalwater Bay to disrupt the War Exercises. More would like to come but can't afford to. We need your help for travel and accomodation, to get as many peace pilgrims to Rockhampton as possible.
We need your help. All pilgrims are covering their own accomodation, transport and other expenses.
CAN YOU HELP?
Money donated will go to covering Pilgrims simple accomodation costs in Rockhampton and travel for those of us who have limited means, but the time and willingness to travel to Rockhampton and make a stand for a better future for Australia.
Talisman Sabre "War Games" happen every two years near Rockhampton. They are some of the world's largest war exercises. The stated goal is "interoperability"- that is aligning Australian Military Systems into future US invasions.
Australia Can Do Better!
But this can not be done by talk alone.

We need your help for travel and accomodation, to get as many peace pilgrims to Rockhampton as possible.
Recently, Lt. Col Doughtery, commander of US Marines based in Darwin, described Australia as a "blank slate" with space to "do things we cannot do back in the States".
Australia is a resource rich nation. Australia was the first place in the world to legislate a liveable wage for all people, the second in the world to give women the vote and we successfully defeated conscription in World War One when our political and eonomic leaders were bloodthirsty for victory.
Australia has wasted 50 Billion dollars on war since 2001. We are now spending hundreds of millions of dollars hosting US Marines in Darwin. In a time when there is pressure on government funding on basic healthcare, university education and pensions its time to act. We can no longer afford the US alliance.
The message we want to send to our government and the US government- Australia can do better. We do not want to participate in any more US led wars of aggression.
