Medical Mission Trip- Nicaragua

I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity God has presented to me, where I will help bring hope to the people of La Esmeralda, Nicaragua. I will be going to La Esmeralda with a team of Sagebrush Community Church members to join the exciting work God is doing in this region from July 5-11th.
Sagebrush Community Church desires to serve Nicaragua’s need for long-term development through meeting the needs of the local church and providing a much-needed medical clinic. While economic wisdom and long-term development are needed, life transformation will not happen without the hope of Jesus.
This July, we will be holding a medical clinic and hair salon to cut patients’ hair. La Esmeralda is in the mountains approximately 144 km north of Managua. Nicaragua is the second poorest country in the western hemisphere, and the poorest in Latin America. Nearly two centuries of dictatorships, civil wars, and natural disasters have made it difficult for the Nicaraguan economy to grow. The country’s divided past still influences the present, and poverty remains a deep-seated issue. These tragic circumstances have caused many in the country to ponder their life and eternity, and many are turning to Christ.
I am excited about that I have been called to be part of this opportunity and experience. A trip like this requires support from those that see value in such a mission. I need to raise $1,750 by May 25. If you can provide financial support in any way, I would be so thankful. Remember every little bit helps. Most importantly, we also need your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow Sagebrush to be successful as we follow God's leading in ministry on this trip. Without prayer, nothing will happen.
