YWAM in Australia -Music Ministry

After much thought and prayer I'm excited to share that I will be joining Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in Toowoomba, Australia for the Discipleship Training School! The program is around 5 months long, from January 23rd-June 12th. The heart of YWAM is to "know God and make Him known". I will be in Australia for the first 3 months during the lecture phase in which the focus will be on deepening and strengthening our relationship with God, while exploring ways to share the gospel on the missions field. Following this phase is the outreach phase in which we will spend 8 weeks in a country in East Asia, engaging in missions work.
The particular program I will be attending has a focus on music and how we can use our musical gifts to minister and witness to others. We will have additional music-related lectures about the heart of worship and music ministry before using our music to minister to others during the outreach phase, and there will also be a recording week where we will have the opportunity to record our music to share with others!
Over the past few years my passion and desire to glorify God through music has grown. I'm so excited for this opportunity with YWAM to deepen my understanding of how I can use the musical gifts and passions God has given me to minister to others!
