Help Teach North Korean Refugees

I'll make this short and sweet ~
I've started volunteer work with an NGO called Teach North Korean Refugees (TNKR). Just like the name implies, the organization provides English tutoring to refugees - free of charge.
(For those who don't know, North Korea's government is a totalitarian dictatorship with one of the worst human rights track records on the planet.)
It's been incredible so far. Such enthusiasm, commitment and desire to learn is a rare and refreshing thing. And those traits are found in the refugees and volunteers alike.
But the reality is that it's financially strenuous to do this kind of work, both for the organization and tutors like me. TNKR does not have the funds to have a permanant meeting space, let alone reimburse its tutors for time or expenses. The TNKR leaders don't get a dime for their work - everyone's a volunteer.
I live on the east coast of Korea, but my tutoring appointments are in Seoul, almost 4 hours (one way) by bus from my apartment (I live about just under an hour north of Sokcho). Total travel time can get up to 9 hours a day for a 1.5 hour session, and includes 4 busses and two subway rides (round trip).
To offset the cost of my bi-monthly trips to Seoul and to help TNKR cover overhead costs, I want to raise a total of $1000. But even if the goal is not met, every little bit will help us continue this work.
Donations to this campaign will be split 50-50 with TNKR. Also, an organization back in the States has agreed to match your gift, so it's worth twice what it would be if you leave it in your wallet. Even $20 goes a long way. (In fact, it buys me a one-way bus ticket!)
The ability to speak the English language can give someone a head start. A boost in life. And that's exactly what these incredible people deserve. Help us give them that.
