Hi guys,
My name is Mike. I have been having one heck of a hard time lately. My roof started leaking and not like a drip, drip, drip....I mean like Niagara. I would have thought to see someone in a barrel trying to get famous traversing down into my living room. Got that fixed. New roof, walls, and all the fun surprising stuff that goes along with it. Who knew a 14x18 section would cost as much as the house itself.
Still not completely done with that. I have the plywood and subfloor in and done along with the drywall up and the new insulation and plastic in the ceiling but have the carpet, paint, and ceiling tiles yet to do. Had my car need all four tires and brakes (well only 2 sets of brakes) for inspection. I literally have nothing left in savings or can really sell relatively quickly to get the money for this now. When it rains it pours. My student loans are now coming do and cannot defer them.
So much craziness. I have a new baby girl who was born this summer and she deserves a decent bathroom to take a bath in and right now because the genius person who put this electric hot water heater in did not put a direct shutoff valve the only way to stop or halt the madness is to shut off the main.
I am not a plumber or carpenter, but can YouTube and have done the other repairs safely and up to codes (which my bathroom is not right now because of the previous shotty job by person unknown). I can follow direction and know the basics of how things work just do not have the money to do this much needed job. I hate asking trust me, but I have no other choice. Any help would be so great and mean so much. If only tax return time was here. To any who donates over $25 dollars I will give a personal shout out to you on YouTube as I will be doing a how to video to help teach others on how to do this type of job. I will give name creds to anyone who donates on the video page.
All the money will be used for piping, supplies, wood, new heater, and job essentials. All extra money will be used to pay it forward to others in need. I try to live by that motto, not because of karma but because it is the right thing to do.
