Beth's inspiration charity trust

£235 of £2,015 goal

Raised by 13 people in 46 months
I have been addicted to running for a long time. It has the power to make me smile no matter what and in the moment i feel free and like i dont have a care in the world. Turning 40 made me feel like i wanted to do something to make a difference and the only thing i felt i had to use was my running, which is how the run 2015 in 2015 to raise £2015 challenge came about.

My chosen charity is the 'Beth's inspriation charity trust.' A charity set up following the tragic death to lymphoma of a truly astounding young lady Beth Clench. I was lucky enough to teach Beth and she was full of life and exceptionally talented in all she but her mind to.

The below is from the charities website:

Beth's Inspiration is a charity set up in December 2013 following the tragic loss of our gorgeous Beth Clench, aged 24, to Hodgkin Lymphoma in November 2013.

Fundraising for Beth’s Inspiration will develop and grow over the coming years, and our goal as a charity is to continue raising money to help young people with cancer and the support they may need, both practical and financial. Helping people during their treatment in hospital is a priority so we are hoping to provide items such as TV's, Xboxes, PS4’s, IPads and other games to cancer wards to ease their stay during treatment.

Beth's Inspiration will also consider financial support, particularly for those young people and families who have to travel long distances for treatment, which might be assisting in overnight accommodation or travel costs.

More information can be found on their website: bethsinspiration.org.uk

I hope you feel as i do that this is a truly worthwhile cause.

So, I have decided to keep running. I thought I would ask you to come up with a challenge for me to complete by 31st December. I have been motivated by the amount of support and feel like i could do more to hopefully raise more. I will select the best challenges and then let you chose which I should do.
