The Ruiz family said their final goodbyes to David on February 12th, 2017 after a long-fought and valiant battle against cancer. His wife Marianna, and children Jarred, Noah and Aaron stood by his bedside as their beloved husband and father ultimately entered his final rest. Those who know Dave know how much he meant to his family and friends. His jubilant spirit, his dedication to those he loved, and his ability to make others laugh will be long remembered.
David loved giving back to the community. He served as President of the Stampede Baseball Club and served on the board of the Colonial Baseball League. He had a passion for bringing out the best in others through the companionship and lessons of baseball.
Personally, David is someone who is near and dear to my family’s heart. I will be forever grateful for the countless memories I have the privilege of looking back upon.
The Ruiz family is not only grappling with losing David, but they are also going to face a financial burden.
