It is the mission of Teen Court, Inc. to reduce juvenile crime within Comanche County through intervention in the lives of at-risk youth by providing positive resolution through peer-driven court sentencing and facilitating behavior changes through education for misdemeanor offenses.
Teen Court handles an average of 140 cases per year. Of this number, less than 4 percent are referred back to the Juvenile Bureau.
It is through our educational program, "Turning Point", that we instruct juveniles on faulting thinking, the dangers of substance abuse, conflict resolution and anger management.
