ROYALLY SCREWED BY LANDLORD W/ MOLD

Hello, my 4 children, husband and myself have been displaced from our home of 9 years due to mold damage throughout the house due to water damage. Water damage the landlord has know about for over 3 years. On 7/19/18 we had an air quality test done in the ceiling, wall, living room, and backyard and a week later our landlord informed us of very high unlivable mold spore levels. His exact words were "looks like you got the short end of the stick" he told us to look into our renters insurance policy and that his nor the owner of the property would cover any expenses on my families end. This ordeal has been a nightmare, our children range from 11 months to 8 years old and are very upset that they can't go home or even collect their toys. We have had to deal with many sleepless nights and soothing our kids after numerous nightmares fearing of their security. To top it off our insurance doesn't cover mold damage and we have had to put every last dollar we have into staying at a hotel. I myself am a stay at home mom and my husband's job recently closed down. We are both now actively looking for work but so far no luck. Our daughters start school soon and we can't even afford to buy them school clothes because we are so worried of where and how we will find a new place to stay when our days run out at the hotel. All we wanted was the house to be fixed and our family not to be kicked to the curb with absolutely no help.
