Rosie's Pay It Forward Kidney

Little Rosie Thrasher Miller was in desperate need of a kidney transplant. She wasn't even 3 years old and yet she was facing an uncertain future. Rosie is a twin, her little sister was born with a heart defect and has undergone several surgeries.  Rosie's Mom, Virginia, and step-dad Levi have dedicated their lives to help their 2 little girls along with her 3 other siblings.  

Virginia heard about the Kidney Connection website, a local site that helps those in need of a kidney transplant find living donors.  She quickly put Rosie's profile on the site and it was also submitted to the Olean Times Herald.  Within days a complete stranger, a true HERO, came forward and Rosie received the gift of life. 

PAY IT FORWARD!!  Rosie's step-dad Levi went to the Kidney Connection website and found a young woman in need and on February 21st Levi donated to Michelle, again a complete stranger.  

The family was so grateful that someone saved Rosie's life that they felt they wanted to do the same for someone else.  

Levi will be out of work for a minimum of 12 weeks.  

Our goal is to raise $3,000 to help this family with non-medical expenses.  Every little bit helps.  I h.ope you can find it in your hearts to help this family
