NDPL Rose Parade Float costs

From organizing bus trips from L.A. of 100s of volunteer canvassers for Bernie Sanders into Nevada, to opening an on-the-ground donation center for North Dakota water protectors and taking supplies to Standing Rock, the Bernie Sanders Brigade is an activist organization out of Los Angeles that has been raising awareness to the right causes and has changed lives.
But the Brigade needs your help right now, to cover the supplies to construct its unofficial float entry to the Rose Parade on Monday morning, Jan 2, in honor of Standing Rock.
The Brigade marched 6 miles in support of our water protector heroes, accompanied by a tipee float.
Millions watched the Rose Parade on TV, and an estimated 800,000+ were in attendance. People along the parade route, whether along the sidewalk or watching from windows, clapped for us, chanted with us and even joined us.
A non-profit float entry in the parade costs $6,000+, and another $80,000 to build and construct, MINIMUM! This amazing float *only* cost about $1676 to make (not to mention tons of volunteer hours to design, plan and put together). We can't let the financial burden be put on one person to pay out of pocket.
