Roman's Fight Against Leukemia

Our dear Roman Amadeus (6 yr) was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and requires multiple intensive rounds of chemotherapy over a 3 year period.  We are incredibly grateful to the staff at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (Canada) for the expertise and care that they are providing to Roman through this difficult journey. 

Roman has always loved to wander and explore the world around him, especially anything to do with nature. He is our happy sunshine boy and has always seen the world with so much amazement and love. His heart is tender and he sincerely loves people.

Roman has  one older brother and two older sisters that love and care for him, and want to visit him as much as possible - Mom and Dad are taking turns between hospital care and tending to family logistics, which can be difficult due to the costs associated with frequent travel to and from the hospital on a routine basis. 

Our family's journey has just begun as we walk with Roman through the ups and downs of cancer care. We are grateful to all who walk with our family during our "hospital life".
