We are the Riley High School TARC (Team America Rocketry Challenge) team. Our team consists of three seniors and three juniors. We are all women in the engineering magnet program. Recently, we have submitted three qualification flights for TARC. We have been ranked in the top 101 out of 789 teams, in the nation, for our flights.

This means we will be competing at TARC Nationals near Washington D.C. on May 13 and 14. Last years
qualifying teams scores ranged from 14 and 40 (the goal is to achieve the lowest score). This year our team has a
qualifying score of 18.4. Last year’s national winner won with a score of 16.16. We are very proud of the hard work we have put into this project.

This year we have obtained $1,200 for supplies through a student written grant on donorschoose.org, which has allowed us to build and launch our rockets to qualify for nationals. We have been invited to compete at the national competition and are very excited at the potential to place amongst the top teams. The total cost to send the team to northern Virginia and startup next
year's team is $5,000, which will need to be funded through donations.

We would greatly appreciate any help you could provide us with.
