Rob Horst Legal Fund

I've started this campaign on the behalf of a good friend, Robert Lee Horst of Birdsboro, PA.  Rob is an army veteran, a small business owner, expert gun smith, and FFL as well as a staunch defender of the Second Amendment.  A year ago a customer was in Rob's place of business performing a firearm transaction.  During the transaction, the customer picked up a sheathed knife that Rob had set aside and specifically told the customer not to handle.  The customer unsheathed the knife and cut his own hand with it (whether accidentally or intentionally, it's not known) and so required medical attention at the closest hospital.  Rob was then informed by the customer's lawyer that the customer wishes to sue Rob claiming that he received the injury when Rob was attempting to show the customer knife defense techniques.  The charges are totally false but even so, Rob will need to spend his own money to consult with a lawyer to defend himself of these charges.  Rob has already started seeking legal counsel so the funds would be helpful right away.

I've known Rob for 7 years now and have completed many business transactions with him as well as hired him to perform work on some of the firearms I own.  I consider him both a friend and an honest and hard working citizen.  No one should have to go through what Rob is going through now to defend himself from a totally unscrupulous individual.  I can't say enough of how good of a person Rob is and how unfair this situation is for him and his business.  For these reasons I've created this campaign on Rob's behalf.  All proceeds will go to offset Rob's legal fees in this matter.  On behalf of Rob Horst, I would like to thank any of you who donates and spreads word about this campaign.
