It is time for golf. The Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class of Rehobeth United Methodist Church with Relay for Life will sponsor our Fourth Annual Golf Tournament at Glen Oaks Golf Club at 245 Golf Course Road in Maiden, NC on Monday, May 16,2016. All proceeds from this tournament will go to Relay for Life and Cole Strong. Relay for Life is a major fund raising arm of the American Cancer Society. Cole Strong is a Rehobeth UMC fund raiser for cancer victims in our community. Named to honor Cole Frye, a recent cancer survivor.
Our recipient this year is Darlene Cornelius. Darlene and her husband, Jamie, are longtime members of Rehobeth. Following an extended series of tests, Darlene was diagnosed with advanced stage stomach cancer. She started chemotherapy in January of this year.
The entry fee for the four-man captain's choice format is $300 per team. All proceeds will be equally divided between the 2 funds. Because of outstanding support, we had been able to give over $40,000 in the first three years. If interested in playing, contact us thru GoFundMe
