My name is Brian Fleck and I represent a Fund Raising committee for the Riverbend United Church in Edmonton Canada.
On January 24, 2016, Riverbend United Church will sponsor the arrival of the Khalaf family. This amazing family of 2 parents and ELEVEN children arrives as refugees to Canada to begin a new life here.
Please help us welcome parents Jasem and Alieh, and children Naif, Husien, Manal, Wala, Sana, Alla, Mahmoud, twins Baraa and Sidra, Marian and youngest Ahmad. Many volunteers and donations of clothes, furnature and other items have made this arrival possible, but we need to support this family and ensure their success here in Canada. Right now this will require cash donations. This will pay for food, rent, transportation, bills and other expenses. Every cent of donations goes to the above expenses with no overhead, wages (100% volunteer) or support to the church itself. Please help us show our love and sharing spirit to this family who has been through so much!
