Reunite with my family in Africa

I am here to ask you help to go back to my father’s country in Africa, Burkina-Faso, and meet my family I haven’t seen for 30 years. I am 34 years old. My French name is Aurélie and my African name is Tieridja.
Here’s a bit of my family story:
My parents (on the picture) met during the 70s in France at university. My mother came from Italy and my father from Burkina-Faso. They moved to Burkina-Faso a bit before the communist revolution. The political instability decided my mother to come back to France after 7 years spent there. It was during the 80s. My father stayed in Burkina-Faso and dedicated his life to education there. He was a Doctor in Philosophy.
I was 4 years old when I arrived in France and I have no memory, neither of the country I come from, nor from my parents living together.
When I have had the chance to meet my father in France (3 or 4 times in my life), I have discovered a smart, passionate and dedicated man. I am full of admiration for him and the love he could fill me with in spite of the distance is what makes me strong today.
A terrorist attack hit Burkina-Faso on Friday 2nd March 2018. More than ever, I wish to go there and see my family. Budget has always been a problem so far. A good friend of mine told me I should learn to ask for help. So this is what I am doing here.
Another important part of the project is to visit my father’s grave in Ouagadougou, which I promised him. He has died in 2010 and I couldn’t go to his funeral for budget reasons as well. But I like to think it is never too late to reunite and that his soul is there...waiting for me to come and discover his life and an important part of my identity as well.
Each person that could help me make this project come real would be invited to follow the Journal of my trip on a blog and share what would be for me the most important days of my life.
