Last week, hundreds of students from across Florida flooded the State Capitol to voice their disapproval of S.B. 7030/H.B. 7093, a bill that would expand the Guardian Program to arm teachers. What they were met with was a scared House who temporarily postponed the vote.
On April 17th, these students are returning to the Capitol, as promised, to continue the fight against this lethal piece of legislation, as the bill will be up for a vote on the Senate Floor.
March For Our Lives is a student-led, non-partisan organization that works to prevent gun violence that was formed in the wake of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.
For our trip to Tallahassee, it costs over $10,000 to bus students from across the state. We need your assistance and donations to help our voices be heard!
