Returning Dorian Safely

On June 29th, 2018, I made the decision to leave Ladson, South Carolina with my son, Dorian John Blomberg, with his best interests in mind. In the past month, under my care in Fortville, Indiana, my son has thrived. He was noticeably happier, eating more, and developing on track if not hitting milestones early. He even started to sleep through the night on weekend nights I would stay with him at my mother's home in order to avoid transporting him late at night if I worked until 11 PM and was settled into a daily routine.

On July 25th, 2018, I was served with paperwork to appear before the Family Court of Charleston County on August 1st, 2018. Based upon Dorian's father's affidavit alone, as well as questions concerning who would watch Dorian, his father was awarded primary guardianship on a temporary basis. Despite the judge stating that no one was 'losing' or 'winning' at this point in time, I felt heartbroken when I heard his ruling, much like I feel every time I hear Dorian cry when he has gas or as he did after our flight to Charleston.

I am asking if anyone could please share and/or donate to help raise the remaining funds for my attorney's retainer fee. The $2,000 required up front will be covered by my mother, but I am still $3,000 away from her full retainer fee. I am fighting in order to get a secondary temporary hearing where I will be represented for a chance to return Dorian to my care and address other legal issues that were not addressed during the initial hearing.
