That photo is me with my friend , mentor, teacher, and former supervisor from the old New York Muppet Workshop,on east 67th st in NYC,
Tim took me under his wing when I started with the Jim Henson company back in 1998, and has remained my friend ever since.
he has recently had a turn of bad health that has brought us into much more regular contact , and that is what brings us to this GoFundMe.
Tim took early retirement in 2002, and currently is living on a fixed income , but his home is in need of desperate repairs if he is to return there, as is his wish , upon completion of his physical therapy .
the roof is in very sad shape, and the kitchen need some repairs. As well as possibly needing a more accessible bathroom on the first floor.
He would probably hate to know I set this up, but this work needs to get done , and he simply doesn’t have the money to handle it,and getting loan on a fixed income is no easy task, so if you can spare a few dollars to help out that would be wonderful ,
He dedicated his career to helping bring life to so many characters that brought us all joy , as well as his irrepressible sense of humor in the shop it would be great if we could give some of that joy back
