Vital Opinion Poll Series on Brexit

Help us show politicians the TRUE level of support for staying in the EU versus a no-deal Brexit. 

We are launching a 10-week poll series to cover these vital few months. The aim is to demonstrate to MPs the nation does NOT want a no-deal Brexit, and that given the choice between the two, they would choose to ditch Brexit altogether.

We need £1080 to start things rolling and commission the first polls; but the series is vital.  With Polls, the trend is everything and we want to be able to show politicians the way the wind is blowing.

Represent Us is a lobbying and campaign group dedicated to getting politicians to actually LISTEN to the people they should represent. We’ve gained respect for our sophisticated opinion polls and constituency analysis which we are confident have influenced MPs stance on Brexit issues. 

Our most recent action made the headline press - a carefully targeted poll in the Labour marginals. The results showed categorically that if Labour backed a People’s Vote they would be at least 52 seats better off than if they did not support it. 

We presented the results and our analysis to Labour MPs on the eve of the Labour Party conference. The question of the People’s’ Vote subsequently became the key area of debate for the conference.

The UK now supports staying in the EU - but that is dismissed by the dedicated Leavers. They continue to claim that "the people voted for Brexit on any terms" 

We need to provide clarity at this key time so that the message is loud and clear. So we’re planning to run a 10 week series of polls asking that one simple question:

"If there is no deal and so no transition or trade deal, do you still want to leave the EU or Remain on the current terms?"

Polling would run every week over this last period of negotiations and summits. We have to show that people are turning against Brexit as they learn more and, armed with that evidence, we will be able to influence MPs to take a stronger stance against it. 

There will never be a more important time for this question because if politicians believe the majority are happy to crash out, then that’s what we will do. So we are asking for your help. 

Polling will continue for as long as there is funding available. We will share the results with other campaigns and publicise them in the media. The ongoing series allowing the story and message to build each week. Anything raised that is not used on this series will go into a war chest for future poll costs.
