Replacing Nina's stolen gopher

Many Kalamunda residents know Nina! She's zipping about on her electric gopher almost every day, walking her dogs and always with a smile and warm welcome for any and all. She is the most wonderful, caring and passionate woman, and tries so hard to stay upbeat despite her debilitating illness (multiple sclerosis).

Recently her distinctive red gopher, covered in Harley Davidson and racing stickers, was stolen while she was exploring tracks in the bush behind Kalamunda Primary School with her dog. The local newspaper reported the story:  http://www.communitynews.com.au/hills-gazette/news/kalamunda-resident-in-great-distress-over-stolen-gopher/.

At the time, her newer blue scooter was out of action and Nina had to hire a replacement until the blue one could be repaired.  Nina told the paper how dependent she is on the gopher to get out and about and enjoy the bush she loves so much, and how devastating the theft had been. Nina is appealing for its return and  has asked anyone who sees it to contact the WA police.

I am Nina's direct neighbour and have set up this fund because so many people have asked if they can contribute to restoring some of her freedom and show how much the community cares about her.
