Refugee Outreach Picnic

Our group, the Indivisible Diversity Committee, will be holding a picnic here down the shore for refugee parents and children living in NJ, many of whom reside in cities in North Jersey. We'd love to have them here for a day of relaxing, international cuisine, poolside fun, and plenty of activities for kids. 

One of our members is generously opening their backyard to these families on July 23rd. We'd like to provide a range of homemade international delicacies, as well as a fun and safe environment for these children, parents, and individuals who have seen so much. The funds will go towards food,  beverages, transportation rental, hiring a lifeguard for the day, and tent rental. 

Your donation means the world to our committee as we work hard to bridge a cultural divide that's been so cruelly emphasized in the past few months. We want refugees to feel welcome everywhere, but especially in the great state of New Jersey, where diversity is so crucial to who we are as a state. Please give us the opportunity to reach out!
