Rebuilding RipRoar Kids Tri Series

At it's core, RipRoar is a Youth Triathlon Series, aimed at engaging youth 6-15. It's a project of passion that we've been working on for over a year.
Last year, our innagural RipRoar Kids Triathlon Series was a successful one. On our journey we toed the start line of 4 races and saw several hundreds of kids race through our finish line, breaking the tape while breaking through their fears and limitations. The goal was to expand our series in 2016 to more markets and introduce new community-centric incentive programs for the kids attending our events.
On December 28th at 10:20PM, the RipRoar trailer containing all of the equipment needed to produce youth events was stolen off the parking lot where it was stored. While some of the items were insured, much of it was not, a hard lesson to learn for a first year business.
Optimistically, we are turning to crowd funding and to our communities for the help we need in securing the funds to repurchase the lost equipment. All of the money we raise will go directly into the purchase of equipment used to produce RipRoar youth triathlons.
We are young and motivated and exceedingly grateful to all those who help us continue on with the project. Our equipment has been stolen but the passion and cravings of those summer days with our favorite people in the world cannot be tamed.
"Rewards"
We've always viewed RipRoar as a community owned project and this rebuilding will be an opportunity to highlight that. Thus we have built our "reward" structure around replacing the structural elements of our events with items that highlight our community support.
The Finish Line: For those able to contribute at the $100 level or above we will follow up with an email asking you to provide 20 characters you would like stamped into our finish line structure. With all of these pieces of carved metal we will once more build a finish line structure that is a monument to the efforts and accomplishments of all those who run through it.
